About Me

Biography:
Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 8, I have loved reading and exploring safe stories, and then creating my own ideas for future stories. What started as a way to escape the hard of my young life, slowly grew into a passion for characters and to write for those who desire stories that are deep and substantial while remaining hopeful. Stories easy enough to get lost in for a spell. In my spare time, you can find me walking my two dogs, helping my younger siblings with school, or listening to cello music and getting lost in my imagination.
Mission:
I have loved reading and used it as an escape since my world turned upside down at the age of 8, and even more so as I grew into a young adult and had to face more grown up challenges. Reading was a way to be safe and not have to deal with the difficult topics in my own life, yet at the same time, reading gave me space to explore themes where the consequences weren't life threatening. My mission is to create stories where old souls can get lost, but not in fluff that lacks meaning or refuses to acknowledge darkness. Readers need stories that prove the light will always win.
